Dr Dr Pippa Wilson BDS, FDSRCS, MSc, MOrthRCS
GDC No: 66986
I graduated as a dentist at Newcastle University Dental School in 1991. I then undertook specialised training at both Bristol and Cardiff Dental Hospitals in maxillo-facial surgery and paedodontics. In 1994 I moved to the community service in Gloucester to work with children, patients with special needs and nervous adults. During this time I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
In 2002 I qualified as an orthodontist having completed a three year full time training program at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. During the training program I undertook an MSc and received awards both from the Institute and at national level for the research I carried out.
I have been working in specialist orthodontic practice since qualification and joined the team at Claremont Dental Practice in August 2009. I offer treatment with a full range of braces, including aesthetic brackets, invisalign and incognito (lingual) appliances. I live locally with my husband and children. I am a keen sportswoman and competed at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in fencing and the 2002 Commonwealth Games in rowing. In 2006 I ran the London marathon and still participate in sports when time, and my family, allows.
